Annie Benjamin‘s music is a lot like the weather…. unpredictable and constantly changing. As a flautist and vocalist she has performed everything from country to classical, rock and roll to old timey gospel. As a performer, she feels at home on the theatrical stage, in concert halls and in piano bars and honky tonks. She has self-produced three albums of original material and her music has been featured on NPR and in films and documentaries.

In 2013, she and several of her colleagues at Dallas’ Echo Theatre received the Dallas Column Award for best new locally written play for The Echo Room Presents: “Her Song,” which went on to have five successful runs. She won the prestigious B.W. Stevenson Singer/Songwriter Contest in Dallas in 2017.

In December of 2022, she released her fourth album of original material entitled “Night Bird,” which was produced by Brady Blade (Emmylou Harris/Spy Boy, Indigo Girls).

Jesse Joaquin Parker is a versatile percussionist and music educator based in Santa Fe, NM. Jesse has performed at venues ranging from the Telluride Jazz Festival to DROM in Manhattan to the Nuyorican in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He has performed, toured, or recorded with Marcos Crego and The Latin Union, Bernard Purdie, Bata Ire, Mike Crotty Jazz Quintet, Taumbu International Ensemble, Chuchito Valdez, Raul Pineda, Carmela y Mas, Ritmo Latino, Cal Harris Jr, John Rangel, New Mexico Philharmonic, Phoenix Symphony, Mesa Symphony, El Paso Symphony, and many others. Mr. Parker currently tours and performs with the legendary Latin powerhouse, Nosotros. He earned his Bachelors of Music Education from New Mexico State University and his Masters of Music Performance from Arizona State University.

Mike Dawson’s keyboards are his ticket to other musical galaxies—literally. Dawson is an award-winning singer-songwriter, producer, and filmmaker who mixes global influences into a 21st century tour de force. His 2021 Dallas Symphony Orchestra film collaboration “A Song for Ruth ” was the debut project for his New Mexico based production company Dreamers2Makers Films. In 2022, Dawson produced “Annie Benjamin – Night Bird” which is a BTS documentary look at Benjamin’s studio recording sessions with producer/drummer Brady Blade.

Dawson grew up in Michigan and New Mexico. He settled in Texas after earning his classical piano performance degree from Eastern New Mexico University.
